Linsey Gourley took her i-JAG students to the "Build My Future" event which was held at the Iowa state fair grounds in Des Moines. This is a hands on career fair and over 7,000 students from Iowa were there. The students learned about a variety of careers in manufacturing, military, law enforcement, and the medical field, to name a few.
Sidney had a very special signing day for Elliott Ward and William Bryant as they are going into the manufacturing field's after graduation. Elliott's future plans are to become a lineman. William's future plan is to go into the welding industry. Mrs. Gourley and the Sidney School are proud of these two young men and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
