TeamMates is a school based mentoring program that matches students grades 3-12 with a screened, trained, caring adult. Mentors meet with youth 1 hour per week on school grounds. Mentors might share a hobby, play a game, talk or help develop skills for success. The school environment provides a safe place to meet and the support of resources within the school.
TeamMates believes all youth benefit from the support and friendship of caring adults. Mentors also gain insight from young people. TeamMates focuses on building strong relationships.
