Revolutionary Soldier visits Mrs. Focht's class
Living Historian, Sterling Fichter visits Class.
On Friday, January 28th, Living Historian Sterling Fichter from Randolph, Iowa, visited Mrs. Focht's 8th Grade English Class. Her 8th Grade Class is currently reading a book set during the Revolutionary War. During his visit, Mr. Fichter wore the same attire a Continental soldier would have during that time period. He also showed the students different artifacts the soldiers would have been in possession of, including camping equipment and a Brown Bess (owned by Carl Focht).
