Aunika Hayes has been involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, track, band, and choir in her time here at Sidney. Her favorite memory was watching state volleyball. The teacher that has had the most educational impact on her is Mrs. Zavadil, because of her attentiveness to students’ needs. Aunika’s plans after high school are to go to a 2 year college to study business and to have a career in marketing. In five years, she plans to live near home with her pets and have a job in the business field. Aunika’s advice to underclassmen is to respect your teachers and be involved in sports, but to also have fun and not take things for granted.
