Mr. Beller’s Speech Team qualified for State in two Acts which was held in Ankeny, IA.  

First for Reader’s Theatre titled “Bad Auditions” by Bad Actors.  

Ulrich Humpal, Dane Brake, Mackenzie Thatcher, Virginia Lytle and Andrew Gamon performed. 

Second, for their Short Film titled Psaw (wasp backwards). Jarek Lindner wrote, directed and acted in the film. 

 Other Actors were Will Bryant, Trevor Conteras-Bohlen, Ulrich Humpal, and Andrew Gamon.

Just like our student athletes these students spend a lot of time perfecting their craft after school and on the weekends. 

State Results

Readers theatre scored straight 1s (three ones out of three; the best result they can get) while short film scored over all 1s (two 1s and a 2).

Both teams are viable for all-state nominations.

Readers theatre received a Non-Performing All-State.
